We help Utilities recycle hazardous E-waste and batteries found in AMR/AMI Devices

We Recycle Water, Electric, and Gas Meter,

AMR/AMI endpoints and other battery operated devices

Recycling AMR and AMI endpoints, e-waste, and hazardous materials like lithium-ion batteries is required to be in compliance—it’s risky and requires expert handling.

Fully epoxied batteries are embedded in endpoints, making extraction dangerous.

Compliance with environmental regulations requires expertise and proper certifications.

We make compliance easy. From pick-up to safe extraction and proper disposal, we will manage the recycling process and provide you with the certifications required to ensure compliance.

Working with us

Highest level of Service: From pick-up to certification, we handle every step of the recycling process keeping you in compliance, so you can focus on your core business.

Certified and Trusted: Meters and endpoints removed from service can not be thrown in local landfills because they contain hazardous electronic waste and batteries that require proper disposal. Improper disposal can result in costly fines, environmental impacts, and reputational damage.

Gain peace of mind with our zero-landfill certification, a testament to our commitment to environmental responsibility and regulatory compliance.

Industry and Compliance Experts: Our team of experts ensures safe handling, separation, and disposal of hazardous materials, as well as certification, giving you peace of mind.

Sustainable Cost Management for Large Projects: We provide a unique end to end solution where the cost of recycling meter endpoints and lithium-ion batteries is offset when done together, offering you the best value without compromising on environmental responsibility.

We tailor your meter and endpoint recycling project to your requirements and manage the entire process for you from pick up to certification.

Risks of improper battery disposal

Environmental and Compliance Impact:

Batteries and E-waste contain heavy metals and materials that are toxic for the environment when breaking down. If improperly disposed of these toxins are very dangerous and can seep into the water table causing birth defects and cancer.

Due to these hazards and the difficulty in recycling complex systems with toxins and E-waste, most Landfills do not want to deal with it. The cost of zero landfill recycling or at a minimum maintaining compliance is expensive. We benefit from the scale of our operations and our partners to keep costs low for our specific customer group - UTILITIES.

Physical Hazard:

Lithium-ion batteries contain flammable electrolytes, and when they overheat, are damaged, or short-circuit, they can enter a state called "thermal runaway." In this state, the batteries generate heat rapidly, igniting nearby cells and creating a self-sustaining fire.

Batteries are prone to igniting if damaged by cutting into the cells or by the elements. As batteries breakdown they also release harmful chemicals that can seep back into the water supply.
